I thought this would be a good place to highlight what I consider some of my favorite or best posts of 2007.

The true cost of owning a home - or reasons why renting isn’t all that bad.

- It can be a fine line sometimes.

My Financial Journey’s pimp ride version 2
- still as pimp as the day I bought it. I’ve also had zero issues with the car since I bought it (setting myself up with that statement)

Why thinking you are smart enough to know where the market is going is so dangerous.
- please don’t adjust your retirement plan based on short term results or doom and gloom forecasting.

Another Financial Goal: My very own full court basketball court
- I’ve got to get working on this one.

February was a good month for My Financial Journey and here are some of my favorite posts from the previous month

FreeMoneyFinance is getting into the March Madness spirit by starting his own tournament featuring the 64 best articles in all personal finance land. Each personal finance blogger is allowed to submit 4 articles to the selection committee and the top 64 will get put into the bracket. From there it’s head to head competition until only one article remains. The winner gets all kinds of goodies and not to mention bragging rights for an entire year.

You have until the end of this weekend to submit your articles and the tournament kicks off Tuesday, March 6th.

Here are the four articles that I submitted to the competition. Stop by FreeMoneyFinance the week of March 6th and see if any of them made the tournament.

Well it seems like this is the thing to do this time of year, so here goes. Here are the “best” posts I made this year.

Reasons why you should not save for Retirement - Probably my favorite article from 2006

Realistic Rate of Return series - I should really finish this up, should be about a 6-part series

Wal-Mart wallet photos for a whole lot less - Great way to get some really inexpensive wallet photos

$100,000 by Age 30 - Probably not the most educating or most well written article, but this has been a great help for me to get my retirement savings on track and I am constantly going back to it to figure out what I need to do next as far as adjusting my retirement savings.

Tracking my Net Worth - A good explanation of what that number in the upper hand corner of my blog really means and why I decided not to keep track of things like debt and Home equity

Frugal Lawncare - Part 1 - Was a fun experiment for me and I actually had pretty good results. Hopefully Harry Jones in the comments had similar results.
